You can not listen to your parenths, and I know how school punishes people that have their own opinion. After several years of brainwash youre to afraid to take risks, hence most of the self made milionaires have no education, cause they where not intimidated to take risks.

Thats by far the best post.

Mojo, if that is your dream and desire follow it, if you failed it means you have tried and you just go to the immigration office and they will fly you back to Estonia for free.

Exactly, I wanna try at least.

Marija, claiming that the Hollywood-dream is immature would be calling every working actor and filmmaker in Hollywood immature. They all had that dream once and now they're living it.

Besides, I didn't make this thread for opinions whether I should go or not. I'm gonna go anyway, I just wanted immigration information.

Thanks a lot for your help anyway, it's true that I shouldn't leave until I'm 18.

Not true, most of them started in local theaters. That's something totaly diferent. Their dream is about acting, not about Hollywood, there is a big diference.

I think their dream is about hollywood...the whole name in lights making it big thing...why does where it start have anything to do with it? Honestly I have not read one positive thing youve ever posted on these boards so really if someones dreaming just leave them alone. Its silly to bash someone for what they want to do.

    Or they decided like Mojo.

Arnold Scwazenegger told hes father in Austria that he would become a Hollywood Star, then a govenour, then a president.

Hcame to America when he was 17 (under age) And succeeded, cause he had a burning desire.

there are 2 kinds of pessimism, there are the skeptics that queston things all the time but still admits they can be wrong. Then there are the cyniks that keeps saying that they are right and evereyone else are out dreaming.

    By the way, Mojo...

Do you have any acting experience in Estonia?

    Bullshit.

I've been in an acting-class for four years now. We've done Shakespeare's A midsummer night's dream among other things. I've also auditioned for a movie once.

Don't just call bullshit, call bullshit and support it with facts. Because most actors probably DID start small-time.

I did A midsummer night's dream in 8th grade, it doesn't constitute much acting.

I suggest actually acting in things... try out for as many things as possible.
