where have all the hippie's gone

My name is gary and i am happy to have stumbled upon this site . I was born in 1960 and grew up in mass. my older brother was a true and after a big fight with my dad moved to Canada and now lives in Nova scochia. In 1972 my dad died and i became the residant hippy. Long hair. recreational drug user and dealer.I was sent home from school more times than i can remember for the way i dressed. i hated the war and the goverment. were did it all go? bring back the days of old protest ,march, and let's fight the war here not in iraq. wake up the sixty's need to come out of your closets and take a stand.

I agree w/ the girl above-I wish I grew up in the 60's..Sadly..we're fighting the hard core "save the earth from global warming" war now-along w/ "what's the point of this war"-yet again.
