I've been searching and searching for an IC that isn't a glorified gated community. What I'm looking for is a place (I don't care where in the world it is) where I can work and farm and possibly raise a family. Initial fee is cool but I am not interested in leaving every day to go work for some corporation. I just want to live off the land in a community of others. I'd prefer some place that isn't blazing hot or freezing cold though. I've only got a couple of requirements, food, freedom of religion, smoke, and a job where I feel I am contributing to the community. Please help me. I'm so tired of living in a society that is filled with lies where shallow selfish needs are far more concerning than the overall good of others. I'm not a criminal, I'm not a sexual deviant, I'm a registered EMT, who's just sick and tired of the American way.

Man, I'm looking for the same thing. All of the IC's that I've looked at seem like organizations with membership, etc. That's great for people who are into that. I mean no disrespect, but I don't want to join an organization. I just want to find some other people who would be interested in going in together on some land. We could even subdivide it. I think it would be cool to help each other build homes, and grow food, etc.
