i need some help.. please. on the weekend i was at a music festival with a friend and we were drinking and all that and someone slipped us a drug in our drinks... which later, this person TOLD us he had slipped us some "E"... and asked if we were feeling it... and i have never taken E before, and my friend has, but she said she wasn't really feeling it.. then all of a sudden things got so fucked up and my friend was completely messed up and tripping out and falling down and she couldn't really function... and then i started to get really messed up and we ended up leaving the festival grounds to go back to our tent and the symptoms were so weird. I wasn't having any visuals or anything, although really bright lights (like on my digital camera screen) were really bothering me... and I just sat there and I was vibrating uncontrollably, like having serious tremors or something, and I was soooo hot and sweating profusely and clenching my teeth sooo hard.. and my friend was clenching her teeth too. but other than that we didn't have any of the same symptoms.. but even though i was SOO hot I was also shivering uncontrollably.. and before the night had started we had this flat of water bottles that had 15 bottles left... and i sat on the grass and literally CHUGGED all 15 of the bottles within about 20 minutes... it was the most insane thing in the world, my mouth was so dry despite the water and it felt like i was just drinking air.. and then i realized there were 15 empty bottles scattered on the grass around me.. and i just started puking everywhere.. nothing but water basically. 15 bottles! my friend also threw up but she was a lot less cognitive than i was. we were both really talkative as well but she couldn't even grasp reality really.. and then she just COMPLETELY passed out and i could not wake her up.. and my heart was racing uncontrollably and i didn't sleep all night. we called the paramedics at the festival but we couldn't get through and our phones were really freaking us out and evnetually the feeling wore off for me and in the morning i woke her up and she had absolutely NO memory whatsoever of what happened. it was fucking horrible. i don't know.. i am thinking maybe i was slipped E cut with meth or something and she was slipped E cut with GHB??? i don't know a lot about these drugs because i've never done them but from what i've read it seems like maybe that could've been it... oh god we're such idiots for not having our drinks in our hands at all times... but had we not left the festival it could've been so much worse.. of if we had gotten separated or something. we are so lucky to have made it out of that awful trip alright... but what do you think happened? could this have caused aany long term damage to our bodies? i'm really freaked out and could use some advice... bahhh. thank you...
Both of you could have been slipped GHB. Just because you were awake doesn't nesc mean that you didn't have GHB in your drink. Go get your urine tested fast.
Thats not E sounds Like GHB or some other date rape bull shit, get a piss test ASAP file a police report to. Probably some serial rapist you can put behind bars.
Well some of those symptoms, the teeth clenching, tremoring, and sweating sound like E. but that's the trouble with a drug like E, there's so much bullshit it in it's hard to tell what the ratios could have been within the little pill. It could also be a COMBINATION of E and GHB or something, nut just cut with it. I'm glad you guys got through it with nothing more than a fucked up experience, BE CAREFUL!
Bottom line: Take a urine test. Even better if it was a hair test bc all the water wouldnt flush the drugs out of ur hair.....
its going to be impossible for any of US to tell u what drug was slipped into your drink... get yourself tested
If you're in time you can have it tested, it seems like there probably was either atleast E or speed in it, as some of the symptoms you describe sound a lot like it, just an either too high dose for you or mixed with some really evil stuff..
definitely some amphetamine like thing. Don't know much about GHB, but it doesn't sound much like it. Here are the side effects that led me to believe that: Teeth clenching Talkative Intense Dry Mouth Being hot and sweaty but shivering Heart Racing No visuals The puking was from drinking so much freaking water. Yeah it definitely sounds like amphetamines to me, which isn't to surprising seeing as how MANY E pills are laced with or contain methamphetamine. About 1 out of 10. OR may be it was E cut with speed which was laced with GHB!!! No, but seriously, if you ask Me, sounds to me like MDA which matches every single symptom you were having, often MDA is sold as MDMA (ecstacy) , maybe he got MDA, mistaking it for MDMA MDA or MDMA you should still report this to the police and have yourself checked out ...check out erowid if you dont believe me
hmm... ok, thank you all so much for your thoughts on this... my doctor has been out of town on holidays but i was able to make an appointment for this tuesday to get checked out... what does the doctor do? will i have to have a blood test, or a urine test or something? i'm a little nervous. and also this will mean it's been over a week since it happened.. will that be a big problem??
personally i agree with whoever said it was mda. and as far as calling the police goes i personally wouldnt do it as it will only add to the list of reasons for prohibition and i doubt a single charge will be pressed. altho u should take it as a lesson learned not to leave ur drinks unattended especially at a fest where u knows theres drugs floating around, just be thankful neither of u died or was raped hopefully. seriously tho the asshole who did that should be beat down. normally im a peaceful person but sometimes ....... peace
