Wouldn't it be rad to have been the one who invented the internet? (another thread in ls got me thinking of this)
the internet, like many things, sort of evolved out of numerous and largely forgotten contributions. what would i like to have invented? some sort of guideway based transportation infrastructure, of modest form factor and propelled by some means not involving any sort of combustion. i should think a way of life, comfortable, secure and gratifying, totally without the diseconomies of excessive scale, and 100% compatable with nature's cycles of renewal (upon which we all depend anyway). i would like to have invented quiet. and cheep lifesize leggo blox anyone could build a house with they could actually live in. but i don't NEED to have CREATED any of those things, sure i'd love to be part of making it all real, but anymore, what is more important to me, is that it come into being and to be able to live in it, whether i'm allowed to have anything to do with making it happen or not. =^^= .../\...

How odd that in the thread in lucky spiral that comment was also made and prompted me to make this thread. As I said there, I do believe Al Gore invented planet earth. Hmmm.... maybe I am Al Gore- or maybe at least this Halloween I will be.
