sorry man i do believe i generalised a little bit there...my little rant was more over the idea of organised religion. i was brought up in a lets say liberal roman catholic household and the hipocrisy i saw in the people of the congregation as well as in my own household completely turned me against the constitution of organised religion...i meant to say the way in which people force themselves to go to church although they really dont want to be there is not out of love for god but more for the fear of damnation (in the more "oldschool" members) or for the fear of others looking down upon them...its almost as though whatever people do behind closed doors is fine as long as they turn up to church on a sunday...
obviously here i am only talkin about the roman catholic church as that is what i know and i shouldnt really comment on the whole idea of religion as i havent been in direct contact with them...:)

    Much love to you! :)
I have witnessed this exact same situation
with the fearful, selfish, dishonest members
    of the 'Christian' religion.
It really, has become a tool of evil.

taking into consideration the great role of drugs and particularly psychedelics in some ancient cults, (read A.Hoffmann's 'the mysteries of eleusis') and the result of this poll, i think that the catholic church could greatly enhance its constantly decreasing popularity by means of introducing the use of marijuana and LSD into its liturgy.:spliff:
after all this tactic worked in the third world (conversion->food) so why cant they do the same with drugs ? oh and btw stoned believers forget easier those horror stories of child abuses from the clergy.

well its discussing the correlation between the use of psychedelic drugs and beliefs in god...so it doesnt need to be in a religion forum

If anyone does drugs and really takes the time to open their mind, than afterwards they're not going to believe in "god" anymore. That's why religions speak out against drugs and condemn them, because if everyone did them, nobody would go to church :)

God is an all-seeing eye Dog for those who commit evil to live, great spirit told me so once while on a psilopsybin trip.
