Yes, that's right! In case everyone forgot, or never heard about em in the first place, I'm reminding you that though our 2nd amenment rights are UNTOUCHABLE, the 1st amendment is flexible. Oh, and to quote the Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." it's important to notice that it says, abridge. this means that in NO Way can the freedom of speech be hindered. trust me, this amendment comes even before the 2nd amendment, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." So it MUST be important.
I have no problems people expresing opinions, butI do have a problem with people spreading misinformation.
Don't let the government fool you. The free speech zone reaches from sea to shining sea. On the other hand; "Fire!" in a crowded theater, anti-abortion protests in front of a doctor's home, hate speech, etc. show that some constraints are needed.
