for the last month n a bit my mum has had this strange limp and she thought it was just a pinched nerve or damaged disc or something cos she fell off a horse whern she was bout 17 (shes now 46) so she started seeing a chiropractor and an acupuncturist...
the last week, or a little longer, she's lost pretty much all of the feeling in the left side of her body and its gradually getting worse...
she's had a heap of blood tests and xrays n stuff but we dont know whats wrong with her... there's talk of a stroke or multiple clesrosis (or however u spell it) but we just dont know...
can anyone help me, or suggest ways to try and get the feeling back in her body???

    My little brother's a parapalegic.

I can't give you any medical advice...but I can give you sympathy and support. It's hard to watch family go through this stuff...even harder when it's a parent.

Think how hard it must be for your mom...all you can do right now is support her and be there for her and hang out with her. She needs hugs more now than ever.

This is a shot in the dark but it could be a lack of good circulation which can be caused by eating too much sugar...Cayenne pepper will stimulate circulation and break up sluggish stagnating blood to get it flowing again, and possibly bring feeling back into her leg. In that case, if I were gonna try that, I would do a lot of it on a consistent basis to break up all the built up stagnation. I could be totally wrong with this though.

What kind of food does she eat? Does she take any supplements or anything???

If it is a disc they should be able to see that on an xray.....have they done a (cringe) spinal tap on her? My mom was nearly crippled 10 years ago (when she was in her 30s) from taking so many falls off her horses (they diagnosed her with a herniated disc) and after 2 surgerys she was still unable to walk upright and was getting deep, sharp pains in her hind end and up and down her legs with loss of feeling on one side.....she is not fond of surgery and drugs, so she went to the local holistic / herbal practitioner who gave her a laundry list of things to eat and supplements to take and prescribed YOGA daily....after a month of working with an instructor the pain was gone, she was walking AND RIDING DAILY again....from that point on (and still as a daily part of her routine ) she does her yoga for at least an hour a day....sometimes you just need to strengthen your other muscles to take the pressure off the weak area....since I ride daily (and take some bad falls) I follow a yoga program and have found myself to be stronger and more energized....and I heal alot faster! Send my love to Mom!
