well, dave and i have a couple we occaisionally swap with. if i show you his picture, can you tell me if you're a plus or minus on the scale. i must admit, he's of a more than healthy girth, redneck to his nascar core, chews, and works on compressors for a living. but i love the crazy fucker.
as long as its not painful...i can deal with once a week discomfort for one shit.... its just once a week? right?
Its also beautiful to be skeleton thin, drugged out, starving yourself till your almost dead. sadly, its the younger celebs that are doing this, theyre great role models for our youth of america.
what you say is absolutely true. this bussiness of tying beauty to human appearances, as if it were a forgone assumption. as if it were an inevitable one, is something i find extremely annoying though. i really don't see humans as all that beautiful, nor the rest of existence as anything less then a great deal more so. =^^= .../\...
So what do you think now? Is not just America though. Spain, Portugal, Italy, and most of Europe opt for the knife than the sacrifice...it's pathetic really, but we all need love. In colder countries people have less problem with skin or weight, or obsession with artificial aids since the weather burns a lot of impurities.
Love our resident furry! Yes, humans as a whole can be quite ugly. And I'm not talking superficial appearances.
it's really sickening to me. i'm waiting for someone to stand up and say "hey, not everyone is meant to be skinny, not everyone is meant to look like a f*cking barbie. we are not supposed to look alike anyway so what the f*ck are you setting this stereotype for, you jackasses!" well, here is my rant, i may be "overweight," but at least i'm comfortable with it and i am not starving or gagging myself to death because i want to look like the girl on the cover of Vogue. Just because more than half of the world doesn't fit the beauty stereotype doesn't mean that we all aren't beautiful. we are. we all are beautiful in our own ways. we were born this way so we should stay this way and not take a a knife to our face or a vacuum to our stomaches. f*ck that, f*ck everything that says you aren't beautiful just the way you are, because you are and so am i. the end. thanks for listening to my rant. have a nice day!
Hey, you are my type. I don't like to see skinny women anywhere within my sight, natural or artificial. Back in the twenties, round and plump was the normal and no one was obsessed with looking like an Aswich inmate. Nature made women to be soft and men to be different...as the french say: "viva la difference" or "long live the difference".
actually, most of us healthy minded types ARE pitching a fit over unreasonable beauty standards. i refuse to get anywhere under 130 lbs, and i'm only 5'5". even that's a bit on the too-thin side for me. i look ungodly beautiful at 145.
maybe it's not JUST american but at least i do not see it where i live europeans also do not seem to be obsessed my point is why ppl strive for stereotyred standards, looking identical
Yes, pathetically this is true....(the worship statement) which I do not get at all...and who the hell cares what is going on in Paris Hilton's life? Or that whats her face shaved her head....lol
Hmmm, this all has me wondering....what's up with Madonna? I never could stand her music...ever but what I found even more sickening is how she one day had a British accent (or at least tried to) and intentionally had a space put between her two front teeth when most people go to a dentist to have a space filled. It just sort of perplexes me. Not that I lose sleep over this or anything but really made me wonder. lol....maybe it's just sleep deprivation on my part that I am even thinking about this at all. : )
