im really new to growing an was interested in growing a little closet plant. would it be cappible of growing healthy with little light? and first-timers tips?
it's possible to let seedlings/cuttings grow for a while under limited light but it won't be sufficient when you are putting them on 12 hours light/12 hours dark to start flowering.. it's really worth the investment to get good lights and ventilation imo.
The above is very true. I found when trying to grow 6 plants that they stunk up my entire apartment complex after they had gotten their first few leaves. I plucked their leaves to put in a scrap book and then discarded what was left. It was just much too stinky and too much risk. I have been trying to work out ventilation ideas and build some kind of grow box but I've come up empty so far. Don't underestimate the importance of lighting though.
