I wish non-pot smokers could just see and realize how not a big of a deal marijuana is....if that made sense. they think you'll have blurry vision and think you are completely detatched from your original self.
    Get at where I'm at?

Definitely. I think the majority of people really need some decent education and to find out the truth about this stuff rather than simply viewing certain substances as 'drugs' and seeing 'drugs' as a bad thing in general.

Took me a long time to realise the bullshit I had been fed all my life about various illegal substances and how they were simply grouped together under the umbrella term of drugs.

It sometimes annoys me that so many people are still blind to this and think anything associated with so called drugs is taboo, dangerous, criminal etc. I have only started smoking pot recently (last few months) and have become open to trying new substances ever since I started reading into them, I weigh up the facts about each and make up my own mind about them. Seems pretty reasonable to me. However most people outside of my group of closest friends have major misperceptions regarding my marijuana use and 'drug use' in general and it's a real downer when they're around when I'm high sometimes. Despite the fact they all have no problem with and enjoy getting drunk (the 'normal' thing to do), some stare at me like I'm out of my mind when I'm almost certainly more in control than they are.

Makes me feel alienated slightly for what I'm doing, when to me, I'm the one in the right, I know what I'm doing. Heh, well that was a bit of an essay of a first post, oh well. Hello to you all anyway.
