Never ever listened to the white stripes.......

My friend got tickets so we are going to see them for her birthday in Myrtle Beach and I have never heard anything by them, nothing at all except for that 7 nations army song........................................


Anyone ever been to see a band that they have never heard, even though everyone else knows all there songs??

I saw Jethro Tull once and some ass beside me goes "who the hell is this guy" I never ever wanted to be like that dude, I laughed and asked "are you serious, how did you even get here if your didnt look at your ticket to see who was playing?"

 

I am not sure I ever have, at least not the headliners. Local shows of course.

 

The White Stripes are pretty cool.

Very danceable.

 

I saw Incubus on a second stage at Ozzfest 100 years ago before they blew up =) had no idea who they were...

Also talked to the guitar player from Los Lonely Boys and since I don't listen to the radio I felt bad when I didn't know who he was LOL

 

I doubt everyone will sing

should be a good show, I saw them a way long time ago when I knew none of their songs

 

I sat thru a lot of concerts that I had no idea what was going on with my sister........

specially the wallflowers when they played a military base here, who the hell knew they were going to be all over mtv the next year................


I knew like 2 songs and everyone else knew them all, mainly because my sister had their cd and played the same songs over and over

one god damn headlight makes me want to stab my ears out now

 

I saw Jan and Dean when i was inlike, 5th grade or something, at an amusement park. One of them had had a stroke, and couldnt enunciate, so the jacked the music up REALLY FUCKING LOUD so you couldnt tell.

 

LOL we were at an amazement park and Vitamin C came out and did a show, it was so lame...............

 

Ohhh, I know the feeling alllll too well. When Daniel gets stuck on a song, he could listen to it on repeat for WEEKS. He totally killed me on that song within the first two days of even hearing it the first time.

 

i like the white stripes if you're that worried about not knowing the songs, download a bunch and learn 'em quick

 

That's part of the reason I never went to festivals with my "other half." I've never been one to learn the words to songs, even for the bands I like.

 

normally if i hear a song twice i know all the words, i remember things like that...................... same with movies..............

And I didn't know allll the songs, but I just danced like a fiend when I didn't

 

i sing the lyrics to a different song and then no one really can tell that i'm not singing the song they're playing cause it's so loud

punk shows are 6 to 10 bucks so i never feel bad about paying to see what might be shit.havent been to a concert ever. too huge for me. they sound pretty decent for a 2 person band tho.

 

we dont get any punk shows here anymore, i used to go to them in the community center and everyone would leave with bloody noses HAHAHAHAHAHA

now all we have is a lame metal club =(

their shows are so amazing.
