mayn i had forgotten about all the good thunderstorms there are in nc. we've had thunderstorms everyday for like the past 2 weeks. sometimes it rains, sometimes it doesnt. and there's a fuckin awesome one goin on right now. i just fuckin love a good thunderstorm mayn. i dunno why, i always have, since i was a little kid. haha i used to think it was fun when all the lights were out to sit around with some candles and flashlights. ahh the rain just started im in a glorious mood today, and i wanna go stand out in the rain for some odd reason haha. its about 90 degrees out there, the rain would feel so refreshing. does anyone know when hurricane season ends?
hurricane season starts late in the summer and goes through mid-fall i believe. i'm pretty sure it has something to do with the water temperature, so it takes much of the summer to heat up to that point and much of the fall to cool back down

Here's two photos of a streamer. They are a precursor to the actual bolt and not caught on film very often. The guy had just stepped away from his camera when this streamer formed. Another streamer on the top of a telephone pole. .
haha when i was like two and three i quite enjoyed thunderstorms "its funderin and lightnin!"...... but now they scare the shit outta me i hate them ahhaha... i got struck by lightning playin in rain puddles during a storm tho, hev...and i tell ya....i felt perdy dumb afterwards.
Man, they have been pretty crazy. I actually don't think I've ever seen this much lightening since I moved from Texas. It's gettin' me reminiscin'. The one last Wednesday night was insane. I was driving around 9/10 o'clock to Jacksonville to the movies, and there were chains of it all over the place. I love driving in a thunderstorm.
November 30. I'm down here in SC, and yes, we have had some awesome storms, too. I love this time of year........
I was in Bryson City camping at Deep Creek a week ago. NC is such a badass state, it was around 65 degrees almost allllll fucking day

Larry Keel & Natural Bridge were playing with Two High String Band, Barefoot Manner, Old Habits, Pickin Buds, and Turbo Pro Project. It also included a dankass BBQ dinner. They didn't make that much money back, but it was pretty fucking bangin, at that. Larry's beard is so friggin awesome.
dude i live in jacksonville freakyy. and i think i remember what storm you're talkin about cuz i had to call my sister for a ride home from work cuz it started downpouring haha. and i love the lightning pictures, thats my favorite part of a thunderstorm. and nc is def goodness for the soul, im glad im back
ooohhhh.....tonight was a good one. Nice downpour, and a killer light show afterwords. I dont care who you are or where you're from, the coast is THE BEST place to see some rumblin' and tumblin'
i like thunderstorms sometimes. we had them here a month ago and it was like every night for 2 weeks. it was really hot during the day, so it was nice. it sucked going back home in the bus though during thunderstorms...
