Most of those cheeses are still from factory farms where the cows are eventually slaughtered for meat anyways, so I don't see how it is any more ethical? BTW , Horizon "Organics" scored as one of the lowest organic cattle farms for animal welfare. It is the closest to a factory farm of any organic farm... Organic Valley scored very high though, and they also make some raw organic cheese's which are probably a lot healthier than most other cheeses listed =)
Horizon has improved enough to be taken off some boycott lists. this thread is for those still eating cheese and avoiding rennet. I know you want the raw revolution NOW, but that isn't like. (frankly, editing this list made me queasy, and I still use small amounts of dairy.)
