I used to smoke pot regularly when I was younger and then kind of grew out of it for it few years. I was always around it and always could smoke if I wanted to, but just never did. My major problem is that I used to get bronchitus(sp) almost every year and when I smoked it really killed my throat, more than it seems it does most people, after just one hit and made it harder to enjoy. I recently smoked for the first time in a while and really enjoyed it, and would like to more often but just want to know if there are any tricks for taking smoother hits. I enjoy bongs much more for this reason, but they are not always available. Any tips that could help me out??
^yeah vapings the way to go, Its expenive but will not harm your throat at all. Possibly inhaling faster would mean smoke would come in less contact with your throat, dunno, just a thought.
well bronchitis is a lung issue, so inhaling quickly won't solve that problem. Vaporizing will get you high without nearly as much smoke so yeah, that's your best bet. \
oh, I though it was a throat thing. But yeah eat it, eating is the best of all, I dont see why people only smoke weed.
plus while eating it lasts longer, its a far longer time commitment....you get high for a really long time, but you dont get really high unless you eat a ton. the other day i put 1.6g of some ground pot in heavy cream and whole milk and simmered for a good 15 minutes at least...i made double strength chai with some teabags and hot water and sugar, then topped off the cup with the cream, making a cannabinated chai tea latte.... it was delicious, and DEFINITELY effective. but it wasn't as strong as i'd expected, for over a gram and a half. i was ripped all night, with a particularly great body buzz, but i still had to take three bong hits over the course of the night to boost the high to the level i wanted. mind you that while 1.6g isn't a tremendous amount of pot when you're discussing mid-quality stuff, its still more than i would have needed to smoke. i would have maybe smoked a half a gram from a bong and been ripped. slightly less from my vape. eating is very nice, and very efficient, but you still need more regardless. vaporizing is great, and far less damaging to the respiratory tract than smoking, but its still hot vapor, and it can still irritate the throat and lungs. but, it IS your best choice, if you dont want to use a half eighth to get stoned and dont want to smoke. btw, if you eat instead of smoking, in my experience its a more narcotic type high...big body buzz, slightly sleepy, etc. more couchlock. and if you vaporize instead of smoke, in my experience, its quite a bit more cerebral and energetic than smoking. not fact, just what i've learned from experience. others may find this to be incorrect.
if your smokin j's or anything unfiltered, hold the smoke in your mouth first, the smoke will cool some, then inhale it.
