I JUST CAME OUT THE CLOSET TODAY WITH MY SISTER IN LAW. I TOLD HER THAT I AM GAY AND ALL THE DETAILS OF MY WANTING A SEX CHANGE ASAP BUT TOMORROW I PLAN TO TELL MY MOM. SHOULD I TELL HER ABOUT THE WHOLE SEX CHANGE PLANS OR SHOULD I LET HER ABSORBE THE FACT THAT IM GAY FIRST. I REALLY WONT BE COMPLETELY HAPPY UNTILL IM A COMPLETE WOMAN IM ALREADY 28 AND JUST COMEING OUT I HAVE KNOWN I WAS GAY SINCE ABOUT 12 AND I LOST MY VIRGINITY AT 14 AND HAVE SLEPT WITH MANY MEN SINCE THE REGURALY. AFTER TELLING MY SISTER IN LAW ie BEST FRIEND WE HAD FUN WITH IT. LAUGHED PLAYED SHARED ALL DETAILS OF MY MANY SEXUALL STORIES AND FETISHES WITH MEN. BUT MY MOM IS DIFF OF COURSE AND I DONT WANT TO HURT HER AND PUT HER IN SHOCK BY JUST THROWING IN HER FACE THAT HER BABY BOY IS ACTUALLY A HOT AND HORNY LITTLE GIRL OBSESSED WITH MEN AND PLANS TO BECOME A WOMAN

please look at the above post as I have already given you advice on this

you seem to be getting sexuality and gender mixed up, if you have gender surgery and have a womans body afterwards and continue to be sexually attracted to males and not females, I would say you can class yourself as a heterosexual female, infact if you are sure at this moment you are infact female, dispite the fact that you have a male body, you could start seeing yourself a straight woman now.

your gender is who you feel you are
your sex is your physical body
And your sexuality is what you are attracted too IN combination with your gender.

So a person could have the physical sex of a woman and be attracted to women, but because this persons gender is actually male, he would infact be a heterosexual male- does this make sense?

as far as coming out to your mother, I would leave it all, get it really clear it your head, because at the moment it could mean the difference between going to her and saying 'mom I'm gay' and then returning and saying 'mom I'm not gay I'm a woman'

so get it all sorted, because Mother is probably more likely to accept it if you go to her once and she doesn't think you are changing your story.

you absolutly can't go straight for a surgery option, even if you could afford it, its not advisable, you will need a period of therapy and evalution, so you need to go to your doctor to start this, in the UK its at least two years of therapy.
this sounds like a long time, however if you don't go down the right route you stand a high change of developing serious emotional problems later, if you really want to do this this a huge deal, and won't and shouldn't happen over night

ok i know i am sure of my attraction to men and i am sure of wanting to be a woman so what you are saying is right now im a gay man but after the surgery i am going to be a regular woman please explain for me because i dont want to be comfused or confuse my family

 

I think its more down to how you feel, if you feel you are a woman right now, then I'd say your sexuality was heterosexual, your a woman attracted to men

SAMHAIN ty so much for your advice/oppinion i agree i am a woman just born the wrong sex i am attracted to women but the beauty i see in a woman is somthing i admire and desiare in my own opinion i am a bisexual woman in a mans body i want a man to share my life with and also like to have fun with women but when it all comes down to what i perfer it is no doubt a man and i love feeling like a woman im very very feminin theres no hideing that any way thanks again and please keep in touch
