Let us focus on the root of the Christian relgion: love. Jesus told us to love each other like ourselves. I believe all religions are based on love. Jesus made his life's work caring, healing, and helping all people, even those who were outcasts from society. That is what this religion and its followers should focus on: loving everyone. the root of the chritian religion is jesus, the word says god is love, thats why jesus said its the only commandment, if u walk in love{in god} u cant sin cause love{god} is perfect.im a lifetime christian and i can agree love is important, faith works thru love,jesus taught peace. but this love jesus talks about isnt sexual,it isnt based upon actions, like he dosent stop if u dont love him its a love between a creator and his creation,hating people is hating the image of god cause we were all created in his likeness, when i say peace and love i mean the god kind of love zoe, and gods peace,soul peace,spiritual peace, the christians number 1 goal should be to show this love and peace to everyone, not go crazy and tell everyone theyre goin to hell thats not love or peace.
