im from st.louis and it seems u guys arent happy beckham came here,im not a soccer fan so i dont care seems more like a publicity stunt than anything. he didnt even score,his ankle? over here our football players play with way worse injuries so i dont buy an ankle,and neither will anyone else sayin ur hurt is like the worst career move in usa sports no one likes a cry baby,all i hear is beckam,beckam,beckam, then i watch sportscenter and he plays like 10 minutes i felt ripped off either start or dont suit up, my faveorite team won its championship this year and pronger played the whole game with a dislocated shoulder, in america the only way soccer will get big is if they make an hour show about the riots

 

On the contrary, there's a considerable group of people who don't care, and I think most of the people on this forum are part of that.

I'll give you guys some advice though. Make absolutely utterly and completely sure that you drum it into Beckham that, when the ref says "free kick", he doesn't mean at the **** who tripped him up. :tongue:

lol, over here he has commercials with hello goodbye, not even the beatles version. being played like him comin here is anywhere near when the beatles came,the only reason anyone knows hes here is cause of the damn media, his wife is hott but shes not even talented shes a british version of one of the backstreet boys.there was more footage of her watching than him playing.

nascar is only bid down south, football,nfl is the biggest thing here, but i agree i like players who get famous for playing good, like payton manning i hate the beckhams,and terrell owens type people.
