today is me and my boyfriend's 6 month anniversary......but recently, i've slowly fallen out of love with him. he annoys me, and in 6 months, the longest we've gone without talking is a day. he constantly asks "whatsup" and stuff if there is ever a moment of silence between us. i'm a quiet person. i'm laid back. i enjoy peace and quiet. he has adhd, and he could talk until his tongue fell out. i recently told him that his constantly saying " i love you" about every half hour was slightly irritating, and he was kinda taken aback and asked when it was okay to say. at the end of phone conversations and parting ways! thats sufficient. anyway, i have no romantic feelings for him anymore, but i feel really bad about it. hes a nice guy and all, maybe a little socially inept sometimes but nice. and he loves me, so i would feel bad about hurting him. but in a little less than a month, i'm moving 2 states away and he's going to college. do you think i should just wait to break it off or when i move?
sounds like youre out of the honeymoon stage dear as for breaking it off now or later, only you can decide that
i've fallen out of love; it is one of the hardest experiences ever; to see the person your with loving you and adoring you but you don't feel the same way equally or at all. the best thing you can do is explain to him what is going on and how you feel, cause he won't understand why your all of a sudden not loving him! hope i've helped.
at one point i thought i was falling out of love but then the feeling came back and it's kind of been back and forth...i've never fell completely out of love though. sometimes i think my boyfriend has come close to though. :^/
hmm, i don't think i've ever fallen out and in of love before; that must be frustrating sometimes! :[
This reminds me of a friend of mine. Mind you she is 28 years old and has her Masters degree but she is the most immature person I have ever met. Anyway, she met this guy Josh at the Y we go to and they started having sex. I wouldn't call it dating. Anyway, she became obsessed after one night. So she and I and Josh and his friend go out drinking and dancing one night and I found out they all made a bet about how many times she would tell Josh he was hot. So I got in on the bet. I really didn't think she was that bad. But for god's sake, she said it at least 25 times (that is the most someone bet). In a span of 4 hours she told some guy she barely knew that he was hot over 25 times. Needless to say he pretty much dumped her a week later. She is a good friend of mine, but she is extremely annoying.
its happened to me a few times, ive tried the honest approach when i was in your situation (about to move away but didnt want to wait it out) i just said hey look i dont feel the same anymore, he was absolutly crushed & it took forever to repair the freindship... i know if hes annoying you it will be hard to wait out the next few weeks but try to think about how life will be without him when you do move away you would miss him right??? & how much you love him as a freind & that might help you to make it through the next few weeks pretending everything is normal...
if you don't have feelings anymore for him let him know. why wold you prolong the inevitable?just be gentle and kind and be articulate so as to not hurt him
You're 16 now, those kind of guys are going to annoy you. I liked the 'i think im too cool for words' kinda guys when I was 16 and laugh at them now because their loserish partying idiots. But trust me when you are ready to settle down and get married that is going to be exactly the type of guy you want (your current bf) and who is going to make a good husband and father for your kids. But now you just want to have fun so maybe let him know that but stay friends?
Its probably good that you're feeling out of love with him, I felt the same with mine, i was 16 and he was 19, I was feeling out of love with him and decidedto break it off, itll hurt but if you're really feeling it out, then it wont hurt so much, just break it off IMO and have your fun
