uh oh, you need to get some more! Well, when you can, only buy from 68-77. You cant go wrong with any of those, and that's solo albums included

Sly and the Family Stone is probably my favorite besides GD.

Although it might be too funky for some.

Man that's disco funk or pop dance funk whatever you wanna call it. Sly is the real deal funk. Check out the albums "Fresh" and "There's a Riot Goin On." Fresh is probably my favorite only like a couple weak songs on the whole thing. Shit opens up with the funkiest syncopated groove mad sick bassline. And Sly's voice is the funkiest out there. Soulive covered track 2 on that album "If You Want Me to Stay."

Nothing can compete with EL, I don't think anyone's gonna dispute that. My speakers drip LSD when I listen to it. Ima have to listen to that today when I get home actually. I've had the dick's picks series playing non stop for days now.

yeah is there anything else like it? Too some it is just noise and distortion, but I can't help and feel connected to it emotionally. It evokes feelings of warmth, and comfort, implicit sexual energy, but is balanced with spontaneity and confusion to keep the mind wandering, pondering, free, yet at peace. I just read that it took over three years and 1/2 million to produce. I would have figured that it was a serindipitiously beautiful ultra-low budget recording by chemically enhanced artists. Turns out they really did know what they were doing.
