poetry is an expression of the soul pouring it out unto the paper letting go of your feelings in a way you cant do with anything or anyone else Well, thats what i do with my own poetry, but they can be funny or whatever too...
oh, sorry for the double post, but i just wondered, will we be seeing any of your poetry, are you a poet?
like your gallery dud .... especially the snail! not too sure about the satisfied with life bit ... you know anyone who's really satisfied with anything? maybe when we become satisfied we'll become complacent and stop caring about our fellow earthlings which will be very very bad. Tom Dijon ... i live close to a road called Dijon. We are the ones dude.
I see your taking after my idea. Mine was just put differently. Maybe your's is better put, maybe mine makes one think and creates heavier emotions maybe even controversy. Who knows? After all, I do like to make people think. In mine you have to read replies to understand. In this you just flat out ask. So for future readers of either this post or mine "Rules, Meaning of poetry" hell...poetry is what you make of it, how you think of it. No one can tell you how to feel about it. That's up to you to decide. Peace, no hard feelings anyone.
I think......... It's a piece of writing that plays on the duplicity of words, expresses emotions, explores rhythm and rhyme and sometimes transcends all of this to mean something more.........I think Peace, Aidan.
