Donna Lentz is my sister and I am so proud of her. She is going through alot right now and I want her story to be known where ever I can do it. This is the first case going to court in S. Fla. Win or lose we have to fight discrimination. Char COURTS STUART - A breakup between two women after a 16-year relationship and five years raising a child together prompted a lawsuit in Martin Circuit Court Wednesday in which Donna Lentz claims she is entitled to damages for verbal and physical fights during the relationship, lack of access to the child she cared for and help paying expenses of the home she and Elizabeth Geoghegan shared before Geoghegan moved out. In the lawsuit, Lentz said she was the primary caregiver for the child but could not legally share custody of her under Florida law. That left her no recourse when Geoghegan, as the birth mother, removed the child from their home in March and began demanding money in exchange for contact, according to the lawsuit.
