Another Convert.

I'm not really sure why I'm posting this here, just thought you guys would appreciate that there was going to be another knotty in the universe.

My husband has been watching my hair progress with much interest, and the other day he came home and I had turned the tips in, he decided to go for it. I'll be hennaing his hair and beard first, and then starting to backcomb over the weekend.

Here's his hair, it should dread up like a champ!

I use a tiny crochet hook for turning the ends, because my ends were little pointy scraggly bits! Here's how they look today:

 

i'm turning my ends in too over the next few weeks so my hair stops unraveling itself.

 

I dont get how you turn the ends in still.... could you describe it in a bit more detail?

 

Sure.

I took a tiny crochet hook, and threaded it in and out a few times near the end of the dread, facing downward.

Then I wrapped the pointy end several times around the hook. Then push the hook through so it pops out where you started. Then unwind the hair and palmroll the dread a bit to round things up.
