it can get you reallyy fucked up, get a grinder that is at least 3 piece, so it has a kief chamber, save that shit up, and sprinkle some on a blunt or bowl every now and then, its crazy

yea, u can get really blazed off of keif. And if u save it up long enough, either via a pollen grinder or a keif box, u can make a nice hash out of it too.
kief is neither pollen nor "straight up thc and some little bud particles" it is the resin glands found on the outside of the bud. the so-called "crystals" that are in fact not crystals at all. this is the part of the plant that produces resin and makes good buds sticky. extreme closeup of resin glands on a nice bud: thew word comes from the foreign word kif which means the cannabis plant. from the cannabis plant is collected these resin glands which are pressed together into blocks of hashish, a concentrated form of cannabis with far stronger potency. in the western world, most people who refer to kif or kief are referring to unpressed hash, a loose, powdery material made up of the resin glands, just the heads of the resin glands, or resin glands and tiny bits of bud that get mixed into it. usually a golden color, it can also be a light brown or almost white. it can change color when turned into hash, depending on how its processed. theres no way to tell you how potent kief is, because the chemistry of every plant is different, and of course kief is simply an isolated PART of a plant. resinous pot tends to be stronger on average than less resinous pot, but it is in no way a garauntee of quality. there is pot out there that doesnt look or feel very resinous at all that will knock your socks off, and there is really resinous pot that won't get you higher than anything else, its just mediocre. resin has a correlation, but its not a garauntee. obviously not all the plants THC is in the resin, so its safe to say that after collecting the kief, the bud is still perfectly smokable. in fact, you lose a lot of resin glands every time you break up bud, especially in a grinder. if you had a means of collecting it instead of letting it fall wherever, eventually you'd have a really potent substance in quantity enough to smoke. by the way, this is posted in entirely the wrong forum.
