What's according to you the best scene from a movie? For me it's something from the Godfather. I just love that trilogy
i dont wach movies exept te odd talagu one lately and you wont no what im talkin about if i talk about them
The scene from Pulp Fiction when Christopher Walkin goes to see Bruce Willis as a boy, and gives him the watch that his father wanted to give to him. It's Classic! ~namaste~
Two of my favorites are from 2001: A Space Odyssey and Blade Runner. The extended sequence in 2001 where Dave Bowman travels through the Grand Central Station of the galaxy is amazing. The imagery and music in that scene always transfixes me and sends shivers up and down my spine. My favorite scene from Blade Runner is the scene where Roy Batty is dying on the building top, talking about some of the things that he had seen on the moon: Roy Batty: "I've seen things you humans wouldn't believe...attack ships on fire over the shores of Orion...I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness of the Tennhausser Gates...all those memories will be lost, like tears in rain. Time to die." I think I got that quote right.
The final scene in Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. Johnny Depp is doing his Hunter S. Thompson impression, muttering something about "Just another freak, In the freak country". The car rolls downs the empty desert highway, american flag blowing from the back, the Rolling Stones, "Jumpin' Jack Flash" is playing, the camera moves to the sign saying "Now Leaving Fear and Loathing. Population 0". Everything so drug-crazed and free. It's poetry man.
It's so for hard anyone to pick out their favorite scene. I have many but here are three of my favorites Pulp Fiction: Marcellus and Butch are tied up in the basement of a pawn shop by some rapists. Marcellus, who wants to kill Butch, is being raped up the ass while Butch escapes from the ropes. Instead of escaping, Butch decides to pick out a weapon from the pawn shop and bail-out Marcellus. He tests out a baseball bat, chainsaw, and some other stuff before picking up a samurai sword! God Father: Many favorite scenes from this movie by the way. The scene when Micheal kills the heroin dealer and the crooked cop in the small Italian resteraunt at the beggining of the first movie. He finally becomes a gangster. Untouchables: The baby carriage scene in the trainstation. Andy Garcia finally catches the carriage with the baby inside while he is aiming his gun at a gangster who is using the book keeper as a human shield. Kevin Costner asks "you got him?" Andy Garcia says "I got him" Kevin Costner says "take him!" Bang!
Favourite scene? Either "Luke I'm your father" in Star Wars or Sharon Stone crossing her legs in Basic Instinct Jon..
Mine is originally from "The Incredible Hulk" TV series, but they used it in Dogma. "Mr. Mcghee? Don't make me angry. You wouldn't LIKE me when I'm angry..."
The scene in forrest gump when Forrest is giving that speech infront of that crowd i think in washington and jenny yells forrest ya and she runs in the water and forrest runs after her and they hug lol peace chickens
The fight scenes in equilibrium .. especialyat the End that was diffrent. http://www.freewebs.com/equilibrium-movie/gunkata.htm
I liked both of the scenes mentioned in pulp fiction a lot. I also liked the scene in Natural Born Killers, maybe the directors cut only??? - where Woody Harrelson (Mickey Knox) was in the prison doing an interview with Wayne Gayle. Mickey begins telling the guards a story to loosen them up during a television commercial break, and Rage Against the Machine "Bombtrack" begins jamming as Mickey takes control with multiple shotgun blasts, nearly clearing the room, and beginning the prison riot scenes, which were also very impressive.
The final scenes from "Casablana". Rick explains to Ilse why Laslo (her husband) is going with her on the plane instead of him. And dealing with Major Strasser along the way. The Hurricane scene in Steamboat Bill Jr. (1927) starring Buster Keaton. The front of the house falls forward towards Buster. The General also starring Buster Keaton (1926). Many scenes, but the two that comes to mind is: Buster cleaning railroad ties from the tracks while riding on the cowcatcher, the other is the burning railroad bridge collapsing under the weight of the second train.
When a guy said: "Sitting naxt to the bodies of my parents, just waiting for someone to ask me why do i kill them. And this detective comes up to me and he says "Want some gum?" Scene for the Mindhunters
LOL that was a GREAT scene. I also quite enjoy the scene from Trainspotting right near the end. Begby (the drunk) gets into a bar fight, then after he lights a cigarette he blows the smoke into Renton's face and the song that ends the movie begins. that one short scene with the smoke and the lighting and the soft music is just .... i love it.
In The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly where Blondie, Tuco, and Angel Eyes are having a Mexican standoff. Reservoir Dogs has NOTHING on this Mexican standoff. Classic music from Ennio Morcionne and they just stare at each other and twitch and slowly walk for about 4 minutes before they finally start shooting. Beautiful. Punch-Drunk Love when Adam Sandler is running from the four brothers after giving them the money. If you've ever had to run for your life, you'd understand how realistic that scene looks like. Adrenaline makes you do crazy things. And I like the part of Taxi Driver where De Niro shoots the dude's hand off. Awesome.
