BZP is legal in New Zealand (for the next 6 months - the fuckers have managed to outlaw it) and I've taken it many times and the effects are NOTHING like ecstasy. Probably closer to speed and even then you can't really compare it.

i tried purple ohms, i think they have that and other stuff in them. they make you trip, and indeed i did trip, visually not mentally tho. i had really cold feet and everywhere i looked stuff was moving and dissapearing. it works, but not too fun. this may be different tho, ive heard many decent reports when taking 3 orange ohms etc, theyre like exctasy too so maybe it being called shit is due to the ammount of bsp and dosage
