shambhala is a festival of sorts, out in the forests of bc, where many many djs preform almost non-stop over a 5 day period http://www.shambhalamusicfestival.com/ i actually just realized it's a couple days after the philly folk fest
what? thats awesome. hmm maybe another fest i could go to this year. so far im going to the philly folk fest, wxpn music fest and a few concerts. but i still cant wait for the folk fest!!
where exactly is it though? edit: ah its in cananda. that would be fun. ive never been to cananda before
for a day pass i think it was between 30-50 dollars depending on what age but i could be wrong. no more than 50 dollars per day i think. its totally cheaper to get a camping pass.
if you call the philly folk society, a person usually anwsers the phone and they can tell ya. its 215 242 0150
If you buy an "all festival with camping" ticket In advance its 120 i think. With that you will be able to come to the festival on thursday morning and stay til monday morning. I highly recommend camping.
if i do tent camping, and i have to leave and come back one day, will i be able to? will i be able to take my car from the parking lot, and return a few hours later with my car?
Yea I left for a day and came back, I HAD to go get some pizza from my favorite place, just one of them moments when I was spun so hard I developed an obession haha
if you buy the 3 day pass without the camping where do you go? do you have to leave grounds for the night and find lodging somewhere?
Folk fest all the way..... its a no brainer. I mean c'mon now, the theme this year is alice in wonderland....
