aight ive been growing a plant now for about 3 months and its gettin pretty tall and healthy, but lately ive had a couple of leaves get some light brown on the tips and a couple of patchy dots in the middle of the leaves.....i thought the patchy spots could have been spider mites, but now im thinkin it may be due to the fact that ive been misting the plants in the middle of the day when its like 90 degrees outside, so i figured the beads of water were acting like tiny magnify glasses and were burning spots in the leaves........and the tips turning yellow could be because of overwatering cause weve had alot of rain lately.....this is what i think, but im not sure i just wanted to see if yall had any comments or suggestions.......

its hard to say without pictures but the yellow spots on the leaves are probably being caused because of the misting in direct sun (magnifying glass effect, like you said) but the brown on the tips is usually a toxicity in the soil or your water/soil pH may be off......this is a vague answer but pictures would really help.....
