It seems that the standard nipple piercing has 2 basic options for jewelry.
    One. Barbell, straight or curved.
Two. Ring. Horseshoe, captive, segmented, etc.

I was wondering how custom or less popular jewelry for a nipple piercing compares. I recently ordered a tapered ring, and a segmented ring to see how they compare to the curved barbell I have in now.

Its been a year since getting pricked, suppose I'm a little bored of my jewelry!

Most piercings are restricted in general senses to a bar or ring of some form.

So yeah.. generally youre looking at barbells, generally straight but possibly curved also, with an assortment of balls and end to mix it up.. captives rings, segment rings etc, circular barbells.. Can use a slave ring to be a little bit different, or add a nipple shield for a little bit of kink. And of course if you like stretching, plugs and tunnels are never out of the question. Just not what a lot of people like.

nipple shields can look totaly awesome, they make really pretty ones for girls (not sure if youre a girl or a guy lol sry)
when i had my nips pierced, i wanted to wear bone or horn spikes through them, i think that would look awesome but they might have to be more like 10g which was my goal.
you might have more options if you plan on stretching them, even a little bit. im just hook on stertching lol...

I would love to wear a nipple shield but the holes are never large enough to fit. My nipple would turn purple and fall off. I thought about getting some precious metal clay (I use polymer clay a lot for craft projects) and making my own but I don't really go for silver jewelry and the cost of the gold is prohibitive.
