Caught in the Crossfire: The False Left-Right Paradigm and the Deception of the American People http://www.prisonplanet.com/analysis_newsom_122302_leftright.html Liberals and Conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, STOP FIGHTING EACHOTHER AND LET'S START FIGHTING THE REAL ENEMY, THE GLOBAL ELITE! Peace and Love, Dan
good for you! not many people (esp. in NJ) around your age seem to think in a clear context. keep it up!
everyone always thinks you have to be liberal or conservative. whats wrong with balance? why do we have to live in a world of imbalance?
the true imbalance lies between the power elite and the average citizen, not between liberals and conservatives.
Because, this is what the elites want: a divided nation. They want to keep people divided via phony, superficial politics, when the fact of the matter is that corruption transcends party lines that share similar agendas that are hidden to the public. People do not understand that the largest US corporations (especially the mainstream media) are intertwined, if not owned altogether, by the US military-industrial complex. This is not just a Democrat/Republican thing, as most of you have been lead to believe. It goes a hell of a lot deeper than that. You can look at Clinton's time in office and realize that he was every bit as corrupt as George W. Bush, except Clinton was much better at hiding it, mainly because, unlike Bush, the man is highly intelligent and very slick. He also never declared "war." He simply bombed villages and asprin factories when he needed the spotlight taken off of him. I can name several state-sponsored atrocities that occured under the Clinton regime, from the the first attack on the World Trade Center, to Waco, to Oklahoma City, to the coverup behind TWA Flight 800. None of these events are what you think they are, and if you want me to elaborate, I will.
Being of the extreme left in no way suggests a belief in a conspiratorial military-industrial group running this country. I’ve always thought of it as the ‘side’ that promotes progress. And yes, sometimes progress so slow that it seems unrealized, and not without the occasional backtracking, but progress nonetheless. Your votes count. Voters need to run Bush out on a rail.
Liberals are smarter than conservatives IMO. They are just more advanced. There is a difference between Democrats and Republicans. Anyone who doesn't think so is out of touch. I have discussions frequently with Republicans and we have quite different views on how the country should be run. To say they are the same is lunacy.
well the differences that i see between the "left and right" stereotypical groups. left groups don't tend to be as focused on money and personal wealth as much as the right, (although i am left and want money i don't define my life by it) most corperations are therefore right wing, a few started as left wing like the body-shop but in recent years the store has really gotten about the cash and not its original beliefs. reuse, recycle.. somthing like that, was its motto, now you can't even return a container of anythin for refilling. pretty disapointing. in the last 50 years, we as a human race have grown, propered and polluted more than any time in history. the right wing is normally considered responsibile for this. because without "economic growth" a country is considered bad, whereas many left wing people would say "as long as there is food and resonable living then why do we need to produce so much to be successful" PRODUCTS, if a company sells a product that will last 100 years its a failure, it needs somthing to last 1 year and be updated to the next model every year to keep the money coming in. heck i am an industrial designer i am responsible for that update of things every year and it makes hopeful that i can effect these things in the future. left and right = different values in life, but in reality there is no left or right there are just different values in life. Alltaken
Absolutely Bang-fucking-on. There is what George Pfunk Clinton called a 'Third Power' that is the real threat. There may very well be differences between Liberals and Conservatives but the Globalists have LONG SINCE found a way to profit from one or the other.. SO YOU ARE FUCKING HILARIOUS FOR THINKING YOUR "FIGHTING" THE STATUS QUO.. regardless of which 'side' you back. In Canada they had figured out a way to create ONE PARTY to rule a country and . .. LOL.... convince the Plebs they had 'A Choice' LMAO! Canada is nicely in the pocket of the Globalists and American has been 'Owned' for no less than 30 years suckers! Dont worry... all the Cattle get to enjoy Disney tapes, C2 Cola (your freedom in a can) and Everyone Loves Raymond Syndication. Enjoy Cattle! ............................ The Designer makes a great point (although 'Conservatives' are no more money grubbers than Liberals) about the 'Throw away' and 'Ever increasing' aspects of the economy. Want to FUCK OVER the Globalists? You design a Radio, Car, House that lasts a century and requires little or no maintenance. I plan to dedicate much of my time and creativity to doing exactly this. Its my way of saying Fuck You to the sick MORALLY LIBERAL and CAPITOLIST PREDATOR Globalists.
Thats exactly how to beat them. Be self suffecient. Get a nice big peace of land up in Montana and grow all your own food. Ofcourse you'll have to get a little creative with water and electricity but it can be done (been doing alot of research myself). Anyways the tax part will be tricky but I dont plan of having a mailbox, phone, or car so maybe I can get around that. What choice do you have? unless you want to try to live on to the best of your abilities in servitude to the global elite. Yes you can become successful and wealthy and have happiness but remember that the members of that secret, top authority council control your every thought, desire, action through the media and consumer market. Left/Right. It's all a scam. Democrat and Republican: They are all the same. Look past all that and realize that absolute freedom brings true happiness.
That's because most people who conform to Democrat and Republican labels know only what they hear on the news, completely blind to the big picture, which apparently you too are not seeing. In my opinion, if you call yourself a Democrat or a Republican, you are only part of the problem. And to say one side of the spectrum is more "advanced" than the other is like saying white people are better than black people. It's a generalization, and it's wrong. You have both intelligent and dumb people on both sides. To say both parties are the same is NOT lunacy, because obviously many people agree with that. To say that it's lunacy is simply one person's opinion, which is yours. To say Kerry is any different than Bush is not lunacy. It's blindness.
I see where you are going wrong now. I know a large number of people who do not conform to the labels, but simply place themselves in those categories due to their beliefs. They don't adopt beliefs to fit into one of the two parties. You see? I do not consider myself a Rep. or Dem. I know few people who do actually, they simply vote one way or the other most of the time. I appreciate some Republican values, but I don't find this administration to support those values at all. The Democratic candidate this year supports more of the issues I find important. I don't think so. Both sides support different things and I think that's fine. I'm not saying fighting amongst Dems and Reps should take our attention away from "the bigger picture", but in and of itself, it is not a problem. Besides I was talking about Liberals, not Democrats. Well, it is my opinion. Your comparison is not valid or similar in any way whatsoever. Race doesn't matter. At all. As a "Liberal" I believe this. However thinking that gays are somehow not entitled to the same rights as straight people is wrong. A significant number of Conservatives are racist. They don't support women's rights. Etc. They are stuck in the past. Liberals have more advanced, progressive thinking. The smart comment may have been a generalisation, but I believe it's true. That's all. You think the Bush administration doesn't favor the rich? Tell me you think that. Bush's "Ownership Society" will be a surprise for you then. You think the Republicans give a damn about the environment? Huh? If they are the same, how do I have indepth discussions(disagreements) frequently with those from a different party? Please answer with specifics. Do not give vague and meaningless answers such as Bush and Kerry are cousins- I disagree strongly with my own siblings about issues, it doesn't matter if they are related, it doesn't mean they share the same values. No Skull and Bones garbage either, unless you can show that it somehow means they share the same values. You seem to know a lot about what Kerry will do in office, how is that? I don't claim to know how great or bad a president he'll be. However I'm willing to give him a chance because it's clear to me that Bush is terrible for the world. I believe that Kerry will get our troops home sooner and will not lead us into any unnecessary wars. He will halt the freaky Patriot Act and I really don't think his administration will be half as secretive as the Bush Administration. He won't take as many vacations, etc. The fear-mongering used by the Republicans is horrid. Shameful.
Green Thumb, I think what the point most people here are trying to make is that the overall discussion has transcended the traditional "left-right", "liberal-conservative" paradigm as we've entered a more polarized, and radical time. As I've said before, it's not a question of "left vs. right", but instead it's "top vs. bottom". It's a corporate elite that has mated with political elites across the world, and has since created this corporate-globalized dictatorship (still in its infancy) that exacerbates the gaps between rich and poor worldwide. All people are saying to you is that the discussion is now covering a MUCH larger area of ground. The traditional issues of tax cuts and welfare are increasingly growing, well, boring, in comparison to the more "cut-throat" issues that we now face. What we're beginning to enter is indeed a form a class warfare. Many folks are waking up to it, and it's time you joined us.
RIGHT ON! It's good to see that not everyone in here is part of the same braindead, "rock the vote" ideology, drugged by the mainstream media and completly oblivious to the reality of the situations not only this country is facing, but the entire world.
Yes, thanks mostly to Republicans in office. Republicans are far more responsible for this than Democrats. Just look at the evidence. The Democratic Party has strayed from it's values some, but it still is better for those who are not wealthy. You can't deny that. And the average person who considers themself a Democrat still largely holds the traditional values. The Republican Party is the party of self interest. I'm not fond of corporations having a grip on both parties either, but there is less influence from corporations on Democrats than on Republicans. Also the Republicans are influenced by the worst industries- OIL. I am discussing the bigger picture as well as the Dem/Rep discussion. I like to examine both. What are these "cut-throat" issues you refer to? Tax cuts and welfare are pretty "cut-throat" to many people. The tax cuts Bush gave to the rich are moving along the division between the rich and poor. Listen, I don't know what issues you are voting for, but I am voting most on two major issues (in my eyes), those are the economy and the environment. Look at Bush's effect on both of those and you know who I'll be voting for. Nader won't win. NO one but Bush or Kerry will win. Your vote for someone other than either of them will be overlooked. No one will pay attention I'm sorry to say. So you should "wake up" and vote against more wars and less freedom.
Umm, you have know idea what I know or what I don't know. I don't get my information from the mainstream media, if I do pay any attention to it (which is hard because I don't watch TV) it's just to see how everyone else is being brainwashed. I'm plenty well-informed, especially to the evils of the Bush administration. I almost have a 4.0 GPA, pretty good for someone who's "braindead". What makes you so much better than everyone else? In your profile you say "what job?", what, are you on welfare? Pretty hypocritical for someone who hates the government. Are your parents supporting you? Well unless they plan on taking care of you forever you'll need a job soon and with Bush in office don't count on one.
I wouldn't accept welfare if someone held a gun to my head. But you do understand that if it wasn't for welfare, people like John Kerry wouldn't stand a chance of being elected, right?
Well that's noble of you, but you probably haven't been in a situation where you really had to consider the option. Neither have I, but I think some people really need it. I'm hoping if Kerry is elected that jobs will increase and people won't have to rely on welfare nearly as much.
