Well, this is a complete shot in the dark... If Belladonna and Datura are anit-muscarinics (They prevent the Muscarinic receptors in the body from doing their job, thus causing the nasty stories you hear (look muscarinic receptors up on google), considering the fact that Amanita Muscaria mushrooms have Muscarinic chemicals in them. Can you safely counteract the ill affects of Atropine? IE: dry throat, blurred vision, light sensitivity, Rapid heart rate... A shot in the dark like i said but. If the relationship works that way many people could benefit. Im probably wrong but you know.. Any information is much appreciated. Its just a subject of interest for me.
yes, that is a good idea. you might want to first try a general choline enhancing supplement , something like Phosphatidyl Choline, choline citrate, or alpha GPC...see if that makes things better or worse. Your idea of using something like datura is interesting but I have no idea of the relative receptor binding affinities so can't recommend any dosages--if you get it wrong things might not turn out so good.
I just found this website. http://www.neurosci.pharm.utoledo.edu/MBC3320/muscarinic.htm It talks a bit about the relationships between Nightshade and muscarinic receptors. So do you think that by flooding the muscarinic receptors by increasing the amount of muscarine so that it can bypass the fact that the receptors whos functions are being screwed with by the anticholinergics, and continue on to do its job?
i don't understand the point... the reason you trip on belladonna is because the antichlorigenics do their job too much. if you cancel them out you simply don't trip.
