I heard that it can be used to "terminate" many trips. I heard about it being very effective with trypts (even read a report about a guy who got shot right back to reality from a high 4-AcO-DMT dose after taking some) but would it be effective for phens too? What would be the dosage/route? I read at another form of making a risperidone nose spray.
In theory it should work for that purpose since it is antagonistic at dopamine and serotonin receptors. Dosages start at around a mg. Oral would be the simpilist way to administer...takes a bit longer than a nose spray.
It does say on wikipedia that on (ex. LSD) it is like a "chemical straightjacket" any clue what that means?
At one point I had some serious insomniatic tendencies, and I had boxes of seroquel (100mg) - fun stuff if you want to try and fight it. I ended up giving samples to friends, good times. Back on topic, I had no idea Risperdal/Seroquel/Antipsychotics had this effect... interesting to say the least and who knows maybe it'll come to be some useful information if a friend ever has a "bad" trip.
Btw anyone who knows a domestic source who doesnt mind taking orders of less than $100 please feel FREE to pm me.
Seroquel is probably the best sleep aid ever ever ever. I used to sleep 18 hours a day back when the doctors had me on it, and it still didn't seem like enough.
Probably means you feel like you emotions are thrown into a dome and can't expand or escape and see new things. Also might feel pretty restricting.
Once, after I had mistakenly taken about 100mg of 2C-C, I took everything I could get my hands on, but the only thing that did any good was Zyprexa, an antipsychotic. It put me to sleep, but because I nearly OD'd on the 2C-C I was out of it and still dizzy and tripping for 5 days, sick for a whole week.
These were "leftovers" from a family member who used to take them. Glad I found them, too. Normally, you'd have to see a psychiatrist and be diagnosed with a serious mental problem before getting a prescription. Prices are totally outrageous on the so-called cheap meds web sites.
I think they are thinking in terms of taming hostile reactions. So if someone on psychedelic drugs (or someone psychotic in general) was uncontrollable, potentially dangerous, and making a big scene, an antipsychotic will stop it. The someone might become confused or sedated but less liable to cause harm. The basic experience after taking an antipsychotic is somewhat dependent on current neurostate and more so dosage. I'd expect to feel drowsy, not euphoric, not dysphoric, to lack motivation for anything beyond tending to basic needs. And more dependent on the set/setting: angry, confused, altered sense of gravity/propioception, indifference, feeling as if drunk but with almost all emotion blunted, relieved. One other thing: Zyprexia, risperidone will help you get your shit together; literally.
haloperidol and the old antipsychotics are likely worse in that respect, as branflakes described. If one had a choice, it would ideally be a benzo, and a small dose of risperidone--only if things were getting way too crazy and the trip needed to be aborted.
