I love this game. I was curious to see if anyone played it before? Basically, the revival of an eight headed demon cursed the land and it's up to Amaterasu, the sun goddess in the form of a wolf, to restore it.

(You might not have even heard of it. It didn't sell too well. It's a wonderful game, though.)

yeah, I don't understand WHY people didn't piss themselves over okami. Not only is it absolutely stunning, but the game is so fluid you can just go with it and not even realize you've been playing it for 6+ hours.

Great story, Great gameplay, great graphics....

And nobody bought it! WTF? I guess in this country if it's not either a legacy title or another boring WW2 shooter where you run around blowing things up, people won't buy it.

    Oh well, their loss.....

I can tell you why - there was no way to turn off that gawd-awful Charlie Brown Adult voice over that would drone on when text boxes popped up.

I thought the game was unique and pretty but that 'voice' drove me mad and I couldn't continue playing much beyond the beginning.

If someone knows how to get rid of it, lemme know.

yea that did kinda kill it, but the visuals especially later on in the game are awesome, they did a good job on that. hey it did sound like that charlie brown's teacher! lol

Well, there are some pretty sweet WW2 games out there (like Company of Heroes...best RTS around right now IMO). But I agree, Okami is pretty sweet. I didn't play much of it (I tried it briefly when a friend brought it by) but even in that little bit of time the quality was immediately apparent.

So yeah...their loss if they haven't played it! :D
