Just a general question

How does one actually go about getting a prescription for Medicinal Merijuana? Just wondering. Personal stories would be great, general answers to the question would be great too. Thanks.

you can find them on websights

just give them some bullshit story about depression or anxiety, or tell them you hear voices, and as long as you seem legit enough to keep them out of trouble, then you're set from there

I would not say the above unless you want to be in a hospital under a 24 hr watch because the next question after saying that will be and what do theses voices tell you or say to you.

 

You misunderstand the question. I am not asking how I can get medical bud (though it would be pretty sweet), I am asking what the process is.

 

MS, Epilepsy, Cancer, Glaucoma (blindness), migraine headache, and arthritis, are some ways of getting medical marijuana. You have to go through your doctor and hope that they will write you a perscription or sometimes you can even pay off your doctors. Some doctors recommend that you grow your own weed and then just go to your local doctor and say that you've been having pains and your growing marijuana and they sometimes will write you a perscription so your allowed to grow it if you get caught with it. you can go to Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Washington, D.C where the people voted on making legal to have medical marijuana so you dont have to go threw alot of trouble just to get it. In those states all you have to do im guessing, correct me if im wrong, is go to the doctor and say you have a pain of some sort or something that i said earlier and they might be nice ebough to write you a perscription but sometimes you have to ask for it because alot of times they wont offer it.

High Times and all those magazines have a section in the back where you can find everything from weed-friendly lawyers to weed-friendly doctors. You can get a prescription for ANYTHING, as long as it sounds somewhat legit. I know a guy who has one just because he said he's an insomniac. Another friend of mine got one because she told her doctor that she was getting "really bad PMS pains".

Basically, you go to the doctor, tell them your problem, and they give you a written referral and (if you're lucky) they give you a list of marijuana clinics in the area. Then you go to a clinic and show them the referral, they issue you a medical card and viola -- up to an ounce of dank a day.

 

well I live in California and I saw an ad in the newspaper of a Medical Marijuana Clinic that perscribes Medical Marijuana and gives you a card...I am thinking of just telling them im depressed...do you have any idead that will help making it seem legit?

 

Sorry, dude, I really doubt you're going to have much luck at 15 years old trying to get a referral from a doctor for marijuana. Even if you did find a doctor to do it, they would totally have to pass that by your parents and/or guardian. But even if that all worked, I myself don't know of any marijuana clinic that would let someone under the age of 18 past the front door.

 

yea....I will just tell my mom that im depressed and go from there....she might let me smoke without doctors referall...any ideas on how I will tell he so she wont get mad?
