Well, i just wanted to see if anyone was going to the Sounds Of The Underground tour this summer? If you haven't heard about it, it was an amazing lineup. Although i'm definately going to see alot of the bands. Here's the list of bands i'm going to the show for. Amon Amarth The Acacia Strain Darkest Hour Gwar Shadows Fall The Devil Wears Prada Chimaira It's going to be great, basically a normal metal show. But at the end Gwar will play, nothing better than going to an amazing show, and then come home covered in fake blood.
That band was around before the movie. They are a pretty awesome metalcore band too. The main reason i'm going though is Amon Amarth. Last time i seen them play live with Children Of Bodom. And that was the best show i've ever been too.
I just went last night and it was fucking crazy. The highlights were GWAR, Amon Amarth, Goatwhore, and Chimaira. Devil Wears Prada was a good band but the emo guy that does the pussy singing for them made it sound completely awful. I also got to meet Amon Amarth and have them sign my shirt. It was badass. And if anyone ever gets a chance to see GWAR, do it.
I agree with you on the part about Gwar. They are my favorite live band to see. Their shows are so much fun. And with all those great bands touring. I can't wait. I get to see them tomorrow, and it's going to be awesome.
