What Autentique is talking about is a very simple concept
to grasp.
Everything physical that we do, is only reception and
interpretation.
Receiving, transmitting, signals from the mind to the body,
back on up.
The whole purpose of the thing we call "conciousness" and
perception, is to receive information.
We absorb reality, the universe, just like a sponge absorbs
water.

Actually I dont believe in much of the bible. If it were true, the world would ahve ended on 6/6/06. So I guess in order to write the bible they would have had to have some imagination. It dosent make much sense to me that there could be no imagination because some things are just so unrealisitc. Its impossible for somethings that are imagined to be true, at any point in time, so its not that it could have happened in a previous life. I dont really believe in reincarnation either, thats a whole different story.

But then again this thread you created could be quite hypocritical because asking the "what ifs?" takes some imagination. And your beliefs take imagination too.

 

if there is no such thing as immagination, there is certainly no good reason for the human species to exist. a point defered is a point begged. if everything came from previous lives, well fine, so where did it come from in THOSE lives? same goes for saying life on earth came from other worlds. while there may be some partial truth, or reasonable possiblity of it, in such a proposition, as an answer, it is an answer that answers nothing.

You can learn from past lives if that is what you want to believe.

But do believe that there are new things do be learned in this one.

I certainly hope this isn't all there is in the world. The world is just a baby, obviously. Babies don't know how to take care of themselves so they must learn from others how to do it.

We must guide the world by guiding our youth. The young and the old.

Sometimes children are the wisest of all. We just need to listen.
