Whats the real freedom for you?when you feel free ,free as a bird? We are free souls...alone in the sunny street of falling stars..and maybe,someday we can call ourselfs happy,cause when you look to the sky and see yourself in the passing rainbow...then maybe you are free...free as a bird.
Selfdestruction is a good example of real freedom. Going down slow baby! Just kidding (in a way) of course To do as you please. Of course you're always restricted by yourself or others, like to do as you please as long you're not intruding on other peoples freedom or wasting the area around you in the progress of expressing your freedom, but I'm happy with those restrictions actually. Wouldn't want it otherwise
I read something on the bus today, it was a coment on a book : "To be free is to have the oportunity to be someone else but you."
I thought lots of countries give you the opportunity and even stimulate you to be something else then you, and yet aren't free.
I agree with the poster above, I dont think I've ever felt so free as when just dancing, it is total release. But to me really freedom is nothing more than a state of mind.
Real freedom is the freedom to live and do as you please, as long as you do not restrict the freedoms of others, nor cause others harm. Freedom is enjoying the land without destroying it. Freedom is free of the impositions of religious morality, but aware of human morality. Freedom is free of the fear of government. "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." Thomas Jefferson America is not yet free.
Freedom is breaking free from whatever makes you not feel like yourself. As long as you are doing what you really want to be doing you're free. Listening to your inner child. Your inner child is who you were born to be. Not that you are born perfect. But shouldn't we strive to "be the best we can be". Isn't that how the world changes?
Freedom for me: I suppose when im Meditating... Or out for a long walk into the depths of the forest. I guess being Drunk Gives me freedom.. < more stupidity.. . Im thinking the time ive been most successfuly Free with not many flaws was the first time i did acid. Such freedom
Indeed.. LSD is truly the gateway to freedom Free for me is when I take my backpack and just walk in the woods all day, nobody but me. Bliss. People are great and all (some of 'em) but I prefer solitude.
