The action on my acoustic is way too high, does anybody know of a way that i could lower it without having to go to a repair shop.
Take off the strings for a day or so? Although that could result in the action being too low... use your judgement.
towards the neck end inside yoursound hole, their is a notch that you can fit an allen wrench into, this will ajust your neck, and raise or lower your action
alright thanks guys, i just ordered the piece to adjust the rod. do i just tighten it a little bit until it gets to where it need to be?
Yep. I'd simply buy a shorter nut and a shorter bridge. If that costs too much, you could always file them down.
Well i just turn it one way and if its Worse, turn it theother way! you could of probly just picked up the part you need from the local hardwere store, Just bring the Guitar in and see which one fits! or a music shop would probly have one
Be careful adjusting it though, playing with it too much in one day can break it. Never go more than a quarter turn to the left or right. (I think, be sure to check that)
THAT IS EVIL I AM HIGHLY AGAINST ACOUSTIC GUITAR ABUSE BUT IF U GOT AN ELECTRIC WITH A PROBLEM BURN THAT SHIT
