A new U.S. government study shows that women with husbands away at war are three times more likely to beat their children.

The study, by the Journal of the American Medical Association, goes on to report that “Mothers at home were nearly four times as likely to neglect their children and nearly twice as likely to physically abuse them during deployment periods.”

Everyone knows women can’t entertain themselves and require constant attention and reinforcement, but for fuck’s sake can we leave the kids out of it?

Sleep with his friends, diss his sexual prowess (studies show women are right about that), even burn down his house, but I don’t want to get robbed by some shitty, abused kid because some house wife doesn't have any friends and can’t handle being alone for a few months.

3 times more likely to beat their children?

Maybe it's because they are single mothers?

Statistics are idiotic, especially ones that are so completely fucken arbitrary as these ones.

shouldn't this say "stressed single mothers who's husbands are away at war" rather than just "women" (no question mark)

not that I even read the link, or ever will
