hi guys, i'm italian (so sorry for my BAD english!) and i'm living in australia for the next 6months... ...could someone please tell me what westies people are?? someone has tried to explain it to me..but i'm not sure :& thanks!!
When you live in a city on the east coast, westies are the ones that live right inland of the city in the Western Suburbes. It is ussully not suposed to be a good thing to be a 'westie' ....but really its a load of shit, some of the best subrubes are a bit west. And NO I dont live in them, im right near the coast.
That’s right traditionally it’s more expensive to buy near the sea. So people who live in the west are not usually high income earner. However I rather meet an honest hardworking nice girl from the west then some stuck-up little brat from the east.
usually it refurs to people living in the westurn suburbs of sydney. they are poor working class people who are your typical "g'day mate" types. they drink cheap beer and smoke winny blues. they swear alot and are usually not very well educated.
