So lets pretend like I have no experience at all crotcheting...well lets not pretend, I actually have no experience crotcheting. I know a bunch of you out there make tams/hats/scarfs(ves?), caylenne im looking at you! lol I was wondering if someone could point me to a templette or a step-by-step instruction somewhere on how to do it? Please keep in mind I cant buy books as every penny I have, literally is going to a new set of turntables next week. So tams, hats, beanies, beanies preferably, crotcheted any help is obliged much love people!
I actually don't use a pattern one of my friends taught me the basic crochet stitch. and i went from there... Lionbrand.com has some pretty good 'learn to crochet' things. They also have some patterns for hats, i haven't used any, but then again i haven't used any patterns Good luck. hopefully the site will help you a bit!
There's a few free patterns online, but to be honest, once I get going, I do my own thing anyway. Here's some that I've used to get started, but didn't follow to the letter: http://knottygeneration.blogspot.com/2006/03/free-rasta-tam-crochet-pattern.html http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/hats.php
yup not patterns for me... they tend to confuse me... maybe i will spend some time trying to figure one out this summer...
