I made penne pasta al dente with a homemade parmesean cream sauce with scallops, shrimp, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes and olives.

It was delicious and I made enough extra to fresh two large containers to take camping next week (something I've been doing almost everyday so much of the food while I'm gone will be taken care of).

LOL...I was spoiling myself tonight. It's my spoil time of the week. I've mostly been sticking to naturally healthy foods, like salad minus the dressing and fruits and veggies aplenty, lots of H2O<

    Sweet.

Here's a tip. (sorry, I have lots of them if anyone ever asks... from experience and my interest in a career in nutrition and/or fitness)- if you add fresh lemon juice and apple cider vinegar to a salad (as the dressing), both help you burn fat.... as does a tablespoon of flax oil. :)

I was doing that, until my trainer found out...she came down on me. Told me I didn't want to burn too fast. For some I guess it's ok, but she scares me. She takes her job seriously, I think. She's being really strict on me. It's murder, but I love it. :D

That's cool. I don't know.... my diet was set out by a trainer/nutritionist but it's different for everyone I suppose.

Here are the things that I know help burn calories----
apple cider vinegar, lemon and lime juice, flax oil, cayenne, dry mustard, parsley, cilantro, cumin, garlic, onion, fish oil tablets or borage or evening primrose oil, salmon, magnesium supplements, cranberrry juice dilluted with water (no sugar added), protein (big duh), corriander, artichoke hearts, dandelion tea or root powder tabs......

Well anyways if you don't wanna lose too fast.....
Haha.... I pretty much just posted them to see how many I could remember.

Cayenne is my fav. for that and for flavor since I don't use salt and love spice!

Some of the things help by protecting the liver.... some help by speeding up metabolism.

Last night we had Thai green curry, tonight I think we're having a BBQ as the weather is so nice and hot and sunny for once.
