what does it mean if you go a few nights not recalling any dreams, when usually you can remember about 3-6 per night? something's dislodged here... but somehow it feels right. what does any of this symbolize?

Yeah sometimes it seems like we're left alone not only with the questions, but with the answers as well.

So maybe this is simply about being in tune also with that which seems hiding from you, and unknown ... act on it, and still be available for all your dreams ... seize the day (well that's what you do anyway).

    Just an idea ...

I think there is always some message in our dreams.

Some messages should be ignored. Others acted upon. We must trust our own judgements.

There are many sides to everyone. And they need to work together in harmony if they plan to get anything done.

that's interesting you say that, because lately i've been feeling 'in tune' [so to speak] and never quite like this before. usually i can tell what my dreams mean, but when there's no recollection, or maybe no dreams themselves for that matter, it's kind of odd.

    thanks :)

maybe if you are more in touch with your unconscious mind, it doesn't have the need to communicate with you so urgently.
I've also heard that things can be processed by your dreams belatedly, so maybe in a few days you will get a wallop of dreams...
wallop? searching for the right word there and lost it. anyway. just some thoughts.
