Religeon is a modern scapegoat but none the less has a lot to answer for. Almost all the major wars before the last 100 years have been about religeon. Religeon can shun poeple from places they wish to be. I was at stonehenge recently, got up at 5 AM especialy to go see it and after about 10 minutes we were all shoved out by a load of druids who proceded to dance around with a rattle and not let anyone else into the monument that they had so especialy paid to see. religeon has (in most cases) become about power, with a religious leader comes an aweful corruption. Of course buddhism is free of all guilt on this matter.
