It is believed that sexual "experimentation" between members of the same sex means nothing, especially with females. A common misconception. I believe if you experiment You are at least bi, no matter what gender you are. Girls that experiment with girls and don't consider themselves bisexual are lying to themselves. Being bisexual is not a bad thing. In fact, we're ALL bisexual at nature, its just to a certain percentage. I will admit a strait person with gay thoughts gives them a low percentage of gayness in their bi-level, but a person that acts on these ideas/thoughts has a much higher percentage. I'd say a sharp leap between 5% gay to 20-30% gay(depending on what it is he/she does). And the consistency of witch these acts are performed can also effect these statistics drastically. Causes in the rise in gayness percentage can not only include the acts but the desire for them even if they haven't been performed, or the intensity of one's attraction twards members of the same sex as well. I myself haven't really done any homosexual activities/experiments, but i can be secure in my belief that i think the male body can be a very beautiful thing. Some would call that a gay thought, and i agree. I can see myself kissing another guy if it was going to be funny. But i believe that would also be a gay thought as well. that would give me like, a 6% gayness statistic on my bi-level, concidering the lack of desire i have to do anything to the male body, nor for it to do anything to me.
i believe that you can give yourself whatever label you wish if itll make you happier with who you are ie if youre female and have only done stuff with men but find women attractive you can call yourself bisexual, bicurious or straight. whatever you feel is the best fit. and that other people dont have the right to try and change your perception of yourself jif you dont want them to
I don't agree, I know plenty of people, both male and female, who experimented or got caught up in a moment, but decided it wasn't their thing and never did it again. I do agree with Allonym, whatever someone chooses to call themselves is fine by me.
I'm not in any way attempting to shorten anyones' freedom of speech or belief. People can consider themselves anything they want to be called. I, myself, am Asian! ^^ Well, clearly sarcastic, that statement helps my point. Though somebody can call themselves something and even trick themselves into thinking thats what they are, people can also have the ability to lie to themselves to protect their ideals from the truth. And personally, i believe that there can only be one truth. My theory is actually somthing i hoped would help strip up the concept of titles of "strait", "gay", and by putting into perspective, the many gray areas between the two.
cuz the first quote seems to me like youre telling people what they should call themselves of course there are varying shades of sexuality between straightnessa nd homosexuality. have you neve rheard of the kinsey scale of sexuality? theres a thread in the bisexual forum under gay in the forums about it. basically theres a scale between 0 and 7 where one end is completely straight and the other end is completely homosexual and the middle (3) is completely bisexual. most people are not a 0 or 7 but somewhere in between. if i remember right 0 is completely straight making me about a 2 or so. it could also be 1 to 7, i havent looked up details in a while
label me I'll label you, so I've dubbed the unforgiven.. Seriously. Why are labels so important anyway?
i say that most all boys when they were younger boys they play with other boys and more that 1/2 of them have suck on 1 before think about your life have you did it or not
