There has been this mysterious, nasty smell lingering around my apartment building for the last few days. It turns out that the lady next door died; I saw them hauling her corpse out today. This week, here, it has been over ninety degrees almost every day. I have never smelled anything so revolting.
Oh you are in for it.....if it has been that hot, well I hate to be gross because it is breakfast time, but in that weather the body gets, well, "melty" and the liquid will seep into the floor or whatever the body rested on....a few years ago a man died in the apartment above where my friends lived and they smelled this awful odor and then these large brown spots appeared on their ceiling (like water stains) so they thought there must be a leak in the roof, but it was the corpse. They are going to have to really gut the place to get it out.....the odor will get stuck in carpets, fabrics and furniture.....its really hard to get rid of dead smell....anyone that has had a mouse die in their house can vouch for that....and this is a little larger than a mouse! You poor dear!
Don't worry about it, because I've seen exactly what you're talking about and know what you mean. I used to have a job at as a clerk at a flop-house last summer, and one of the tenants killed himself in his room. Nobody noticed that he was there until the smell became unbearable, and the floor that he lived on stunk forever thereafter.
man its kinda sad that her family didnt come to visit her or stay in contact long enough even to see if she was alive or not
Well, it was her family who found her, I believe. It was pretty common for me to see them there, and I saw a nurse a few times also. They were probably just busy for a few, inopportune days. I could see the same thing happening to my grandfather, because my mother is the only person who really checks up on him, so some day she may be having a busy week and go to visit only to find his rotting carcass.
omg i can't even begin to think how bad that smells.. and what she even looked like, since it was HOT as hell and her corpse has been in there for at least a couple days you said. rotting dead things have to be about the worst smell in the world. i can't even stand the smell of roadkill on the side of the road! haha
I was at Ohiopyle once and found a partially decomposed beaver lodged between some rocks. The smell was terrible, but it looked pretty cool, because only the middle of it was decomposed, so it was possible to see its ribcage and stuff but its head and the bottom parts still remained.
eww thats pretty sick haha one time i was swimming down at the S.C. beach and my friend yelled that there was a dead animal in the water, and i looked RIGHT beside me and there was a dead rotting squirrel just floating by. it was probably a foot away from me, i about threw up
The last time I was at the beach, also in SC, I found a decomposing sting ray washed up on the shore that had a huge bite taken out of it.
damn man ...time to move...for good hell you got some balls if you stay there nmot just fot the bad spirit thatgonna be lying around its proofed sientifically that the substances exaled into air from dead human(cos of our metabolism and stuff we are one of the animals with the worst foul smelling smell when we die) cause some fuck up reactions on brain and mind gonna start to have some bad stuff if stay there man....maybe its just me
