i play basketball and lacrosse for my school, dont really have spirit for it though except my actual teams. and its a public school so no one really gives a fuck about our school anyway so its all good
shit, you can dress for prom cheaply, and tickets are only what, $15? and yeah, i knew most of those people for 12 years or more before prom, except when i went to a different school's. i really don't see why you would go to prom with a bunch of strangers. as for school spirit, i never had that, but i participated in a few extracuriculars because it beat going home after school and watching the fucking brady bunch, and yeah i did care about those particular teams i was on (except when i played basketball in junior high, i don't see how anyone could give a shit about that sport, especially with the pieces of shit we had on our team)
do you live in the worlds smallest town? tickets for prom here are about $150 for a pair, and you have to buy the pair, you cant buy 1.
I had some school spirit when I was in high school. We had a great basketball team, so that was cool. But our school was ghetto and poor. And now I hate everyone I went to school with, so fuck that.....And by the way, I'm very drunk and high right now, so if sounds like an idiot wrote that, then you're right.
maybe, my hometown had slightly more than 1000 people, and i graduated with 47, including myself. i don't remember for sure, but i think tickets were 15 for a single or 20 for a couple, or something around thereabouts
thats how much our homecoming tickets are, and little dances, but when you talk about a hotel ballroom, in delaware when our school is in PA, the prices start to go up. then yorur grade has fundrasiers to help fray the costs, but no one ever goes all out with those. we also have a lot of kids in our school. we had this incident where a tall boy tripped over on of my firends who was a midget!
because unless you go with a relative you have a near 99% chance of getting laid. and i kindof liked pep rallies. they gave me a chance to read. plus, watching high school sports is a lot more interesting if you see it like a discovery channel documentary: "The juvinile males jockey for position and attention in their mating ritual, the prize, the cheerleaders, on the sideline are advertising with brightly colored outfits that show off their sexuality."
are you near the delaware border at least? if not, what's the point of having it so far away? i think our homecoming was 6 for a single 10 for a couple
I always try to find ways to get out of school pep-assembly things at my school. 1000 black chicks with squeaky voices screaming isn't my idea of a good time.
