i joined the club a couple of days ago, went from lots and lots of hair to shaved sides and a line an inch or two high. I was wary because I know it's a bit of a fashion thing, but then I figured i would feel different with one, and I would like that feeling, and I should do what I like, if it doesn't affect others adversely. Plus with the heat in Canada, it's providing quite a lot of relief. I don't really like using hairspray, it's so synthetic, but i'm just going to have to fail that one I think. The setting of the act was pretty cool too, 4 in the morning in a ravine in Toronto, after a mad stoned out fiddle/banjo jam, my hippy mate pulled out an electric razor.
i always thought mohawks were pretty cool (and not just for the a/c feeling). wouldn't do it myself. would love to see pics of Jay with a mohawk, i can't quite imagine it.
you get the gist though. how is it that one person can look good no matter what hairstyle they choose. hey, hollowayjay should post a pic of his too
hehe. red indian. dave used to have one, years ago. it was a basic one, green, i think. some time in the 80's. tere was a guy in front of me in anthropology that had a beautiful 1' tall mohawk in a graduating blue green color scale. it was really nice.
I'm not very good at pictures, both in them, and getting in them, my mates and I have no money for cameras. But I found some on the net from some rave last week a photographer friend of mine took, they won't upload though. they're on flickr, any suggestions anyone? I'll keep searching, for a before as well as an after.
save the file to your desktop then upload it to your UK Hip Gallery then you can link to it directly or insert the image into your comment, etc

Yay. I'm ashamed but i actually want to go and find some more flattering photos of me now. At least i admitted to my consumerist concerns about outward appearance.
