So there is this chick who I really like. I chase her for a while then but nothing great seems to be resulting from my efforts. So I get sick of not knowing if I have a chance and just straight out ask her. She says she thinks I am cool but her life is real strange right now.

I'm considering just giving up on her even though I still like her. I have started having thought such as "if things aren't happening quickly its obvious that we are not well suited", "she is just playing games, forget about her", "she is well worth it don't give up", "give up because i'm probably just boosting her ego", "There are plenty more fish in the sea but I like the taste of that fish", etc.

What the fuck, its hard on a mans mind.

I have to see her twice a week whether I like it or not so its hard to just forget about her, plus I don't really want to forget about her.

Shes got the power which sucks, what about equal rights!

Just be careful dude, this is the 21st century. no more pepe le pew type stuff or you get a restraining order slapped on yo ass. think zen, when you don't really want it, is when you are free to have it.

LOL, I personally like to be chased. But that is just me. I also don't mind doing the chasing myself. Sigh, I'm just a hopeless romantic.

Hmmm... be careful, too much chasing and you'll chase her right away. You don't wanting her to think you are desparate do ya? Since you have to see her anyway, just acknowledge her and let her take it from there. If she seems interested, suggest getting coffee sometime, but don't pressure her. If not, move on sweetie, because you are correct there are plenty of fish... among other stuff out in that sea of life.

It depends on your situation, LOL! If she knows you like her and isn't doing anthing about it, she either isn't interested or she...means exactly what she says. Is she a close friend?

She is not a close friend, I have known her since February through a sports club. Yeah what you say makes sense Cobcottage.

yeah, chasing after someone who doesnt seem to have even the slightest interest in you isnt all that healthy, and most of the time you end up getting burnt. Also, if you do too much chasing, you are seen as desperate and borderline psycho. Most women prefer men who are hard to get.

chasing after someone who does have some interest in you as well, may be rewarding, although alot of times they are just playing games. Thats what seems to happen to me on a regular basis. In the long run, you end up getting burnt.

thats why I usually wait out and let her make the first move. Then I know she has an interest in me.
