In the past few posts i read i kept seeing paintball over and over again. Paintball was my life from 11-15, so its got a little nostalgia now. Just wondering how many of ya used to or still do ball. I've owned mannnny guns and drifted between stock class and tourney.
Yeah I used to paly alot more, It seams I lost touch but luckily I still have all my gear, and keep in touch with every one I played with. I will play again before the end of the summer. Should be a great rush shooting my first person out, hopefully I'll get one before I get shot. : )
I used to keep just enough gear around so that i could play if the mood ever struck me. but when it didn't strike very often, i sold a few high end pieces of equiptment, kept a few cheap beaters.
ive played once(several defferent matches) and it was really fun. i can't play anymore though because paintballs aren't vegan.
I played weekly from about 13 to 16 and then I lost interest. My home field closed and others sucked. That last year a lot of the guys from my home field played scenario games throughout the SE. The last few times I played were some recball at a local field and Oklahoma D-Day. My brothers and dad all play so we have a ton of shit. We're starting to get around to selling it since the only other event we will hit this year is Wayne's World Finale. I actually spent a few months helping my home field's shop with repairs on Mags and DM's. Never got into Cockers and I have disliked every SP gun I've owned. My brother had an XSV Ego (on Ebay) that I didn't mind shooting. Not as smooth as a spool valve Matrix but still very tight and quick. Anyone here familiar with Automags.org aka AO?
I play ever weekend for a team, Dirt Demons. Ive been playing since i was about 12 and starting playing tournaments from age 15 1/2. We have about 8 people on the team now. As of now i shoot an 07 ego, g7, and an 02 mini orracle. http://dirtdemonspaintball.com
my bro used to play paintball all the time, i was never really into it, cause i was always afraid of being shot haha but sometimes my brother would let me just waste paintballs on stupid shit.. we would go outside and shoot at my shed and garage and this old truck sitting in my driveway, and one time we shot my mom
there was this one time where i went to this kids house who had a paintball gun and i really didnt know the kid and neither did the friend i went with and it was really akward being around him and his couch smelt like cat piss.
I play occasionally in the woods, but only with my friends. We have these awesome games spanning the whole woods. I'm not very serious about it though.
I just never liked how Ego's shot. I've always been a Matrix fan so you'll have to rip my DM6 out of my cold dead hands before I shoot any PE or SP gun.
I have an ION. : ) Not the best but it gets the job done, I've never had any problems with it either surprisingly. When they first came out and every one was buying them I had to fix so many, I know them in and out.
I love paintball, but I never got serious enough to go beyond my Spyder Imagine with a fistful of aftermarket parts. I haven't been able to get to the field so far this summer, though, and I'm leaving for college in a matter of hours so I'm afraid my paintball days are over for a while .
